Visa debit and non-GamStop casinos

Hey mates, I’m trying to figure out which non-GamStop casinos actually accept UK Visa debit cards without messing around with third-party processors that can trigger bank blocks. I’ve had a bit of trouble recently when trying to deposit. I usually use Skrill, but I thought I’d give my card a go instead for a change. It was a bit frustrating when my bank just blocked the transaction.

I’ve been playing roulette and sticking to pretty small bets, usually between £5 and £20, but I don’t want my funds getting stuck because of silly issues with my card. Anyone out there dealt with this? What casinos have worked for you without those extra complications? Cheers

payPal works better mate. i moved to PayPal at gqbet a while back and haven’t had a single bank block since. they take GBP so no conversion fees eating into your deposit either, which matters when you’re only putting in a tenner.

I was just trying to deposit with my card too…

PayPal has its own blocks sometimes too, in my experience.

Have you guys ever tried using a prepaid card? I wonder if that might work better for deposits without the hassle of blocks. i’ve been curious but never gave it a go. Any thoughts on that?

@dcummings17, I get that prepaid cards might seem like a good idea, but I tried one for deposits, and it didn’t work at all. Just got stuck in limbo. Maybe it’s just my luck, but I didn’t find it easier.

@marcus_88, it’s a pain, isn’t it?

Depositing with cards can be a right nuisance lately, can’t it? i’ve faced similar issues before. Sometimes, i stick with bank transfers to keep it simple, although it does take longer to process. Have you considered that? it’s not as quick, but at least it avoids those pesky blocks

same happened to me with a prepaid, mate. went nowhere, no error, no confirmation, just a dead end for about 20 minutes before i gave up. my debit card has always been more reliable for that kind of thing, even if the odd deposit gets flagged

was just contemplating this myself. i often use my debit card without much hassle, but it’s true lately there’s been some pain with deposits. i’ve thouggt about trying a prepaid card too but hearing all these stories has me convinced to stick with what’s worked

Stick with Skrill, genuinely. Card deposits at non-GamStop sites have got noticeably worse over the past year or so, I think banks are getting more aggressive about flagging them. Skrill just sidesteps all that. Has anyone actually found a card that goes through consistently these days, or is it pot luck every time?
